Every Knee Shall Bow

10 Why do you pass judgment on your brother? Or you, why do you despise your brother? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God; 11 for it is written, “As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.” 12 So then each of us will give an account of himself to God.
Romans 14:10-12

Every Knee Shall Bow

We would pass judgment on our brothers. We take no heed to the Lord Jesus. He bids us to judge not. That isn't our place to decide the guilt or innocence. We call it as we see it and in love deny ourselves for our brother. We give up our pleasures and passions because of our love for them. We show them the purity of God's love in our love for them. We will all be called before the throne of God. We have one answer when we are accused of our sins. (And you should know that the devil will be there to accuse you!) That answer: I have been washed in the blood of Jesus. His death has paid for my sins. I belong to him. Every tongue shall confess that Jesus is Lord. There is no other live that we can live. Jesus is our victory, our light, and our life. He is our brother's victory, too, our brother's light, and our brother's life. He is the life of the world and he has overcome all to have us as his own.
