Confident in Christ’s Presence

6 So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, 7 for we walk by faith, not by sight. 8 Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord. 9 So whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to please him. 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.

Confident in Christ’s Presence
As believers, we live in a paradox, we are at home in this body, yet our true home is with the Lord. Paul calls us to live by faith, not by sight, reminding us that our present life is temporary. This does not dismiss our earthly struggles but refocuses them. Our confidence lies not in our abilities or comfort but in Christ’s finished work on the cross. By His sacrifice, He secured eternal life for us, a promise far surpassing anything we endure now. Our actions, done in faith, are shaped by this eternal perspective. We will one day stand before the judgment seat of Christ, yet we do so without fear. In Christ, we are clothed in righteousness, pleasing to God. May this hope fill us with courage as we walk, knowing that we are always seen and redeemed by our Lord.
