Now Is the Time of Grace

6 Working together with him, then, we appeal to you not to receive the grace of God in vain. 2 For he says,
“In a favorable time I listened to you,
and in a day of salvation I have helped you.”

Now Is the Time of Grace
As workers alongside Christ, we live in the time of God’s favor, His grace poured out for our salvation. There’s an urgency to this moment because today is the day of salvation. Through Christ’s cross, God has extended a new covenant to us, not based on our works or our worthiness but solely on His mercy. Just as Paul urges the Corinthians not to “receive God’s grace in vain,” we, too, are called to live in response to His sacrificial love. The cross of Christ is both the means and the message of our hope. In Jesus' death and resurrection, we receive God's invitation to eternal life and reconciliation. Our response is not only gratitude but a life committed to sharing this grace with others. Now is the acceptable time; now is the day to live out our faith, knowing that God’s grace through the cross has already secured our salvation.
