Grace and Peace through Christ

1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy our brother,
To the church of God that is at Corinth, with all the saints who are in the whole of Achaia:
2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Grace and Peace through Christ
Paul opens his letter with a profound reminder: grace and peace are gifts flowing from the Father and Christ our Lord. Grace, undeserved love and mercy, reaches us through the cross, where Christ bore our sins, making peace between God and humanity. In the midst of Corinth’s struggles and ours, God doesn’t withdraw but reaches out in grace, grounding us in His love. For those feeling troubled or uncertain, Christ’s cross assures us that God’s grace is unshakeable. His peace anchors us amid life’s storms, lifting us up as part of His church. Paul’s words call us to rest in this gift, knowing that our status before God is secured through Jesus. Today, rejoice in His grace and peace, certain that it covers every need and draws us closer to our Savior.
